Amy has been in healthcare since she was just 16 years old. With a CNA certification since 2000, a social service degree earned in 2007, and a Bachelor’s in Behavioral and Social Services, her journey has always been rooted in caring for others. From a young age, Amy knew she wanted to be in healthcare. Her passion lies in advocating for those who cannot always advocate for themselves. Ensuring that residents’ psychosocial needs are met brings her a deep sense of purpose and joy.
In difficult times, Amy remains motivated by knowing she makes a real difference in residents’ lives. She is dedicated to enriching their quality of life with love and compassion, even in their final moments. For Amy, the most fulfilling aspect of her work is seeing the impact she has on residents’ lives. Treating them with dignity, respect, and kindness is at the heart of what she does. “Seeing their faces light up when we walk in the door reminds me that we truly make a difference,” she shares.
