Majestic Care of Carmel is excited to share resident Richard Canada’s Success Story!
Richard Canada was admitted to Majestic Care of Carmel on December 14, 2024, following a fall in his assisted living apartment, which resulted in a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Upon admission, Richard required significant assistance with daily activities.
With the support of Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy, a personalized treatment plan was developed to address his unique needs and help him regain his independence. The therapy team worked diligently to promote adaptation, compensation, and restoration, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
After 69 days of hard work and dedication, Richard successfully discharged home on February 20, 2025, with the goal of returning to his assisted living facility. His perseverance and determination made this goal a reality, and we are thrilled to have been part of his journey!
